April 21, 2023EU imposes 17.3% Anti-Dumping Duty duty on Türkiye's hot-rolled stainless steel plate
On July 26, 2022, the European Commission launched an anti circumvention investigation on hot-rolled stainless Steel Plates and coils imported from Türkiye and originating in or imported from Indonesia.
On April 17, 2023, the European Commission disclosed its investigation results. The results showed that Indonesia consigned the local hot rolled stainless steel plates to Türkiye, and then exported them to the EU to avoid Anti-Dumping Duty. Therefore, the Commission decided to extend the anti-dumping measures against Indonesia to Türkiye, that is, impose a 17.3% Anti-Dumping Duty on Türkiye's hot rolled stainless steel plates.
